The new Stingray Grey 505 Shadow represents the most refined expression of the 505 Shadow to date—an evolution shaped through hundreds of hours of real-world use by owners who know the platform best. This newest build will soon make its way to the United States, marking the next step in the continued expansion of the 505 Shadow platform.

A New Standard in Craftsmanship

Step aboard and the high-gloss walnut interior immediately sets a different tone—bringing a new level of warmth and refinement to the yacht’s living spaces. The finish reflects the meticulous craftsmanship that defines every ECLIPSE build—striking, contemporary, and precisely executed.

At the helm, an all-new two-piece windshield improves forward visibility and reinforces the owner-operator focus of the 505 Shadow. The helm is further enhanced with an upgraded Recaro seat, designed for ergonomic support during long days on the water.

Inside the accommodations, several updates improve both comfort and functionality. The master stateroom gains additional vertical locker space and shelving, along with a television integrated into high-gloss cabinetry that complements the walnut interior. Polished chrome fixtures appear throughout the heads, delivering a clean, refined finish across private spaces.     

The aft guest cabin features two fore-and-aft-facing single bunks, complemented by two large hanging lockers and four drawers beneath—providing comfortable accommodations and practical storage for extended cruising.

In the galley, an under-counter pull-out waste bin adds everyday convenience, while the main electrical panel has been relocated to the salon entry for quick and intuitive access.       

Refined Through Experience

This latest build reflects the direct feedback of owners and real-world experience on the water.

The exterior now features a fully painted finish, highlighted by granite-grey hull sides paired with a crisp white superstructure—a combination that delivers a clean, contemporary profile both underway and at the dock.

Even the areas of the boat that owners rarely see receive the same level of attention. Bilge and equipment spaces are painted and fitted with upgraded LED lighting, improving serviceability while reinforcing ECLIPSE’s commitment to thoughtful engineering throughout the yacht.

Comfort has also been enhanced with a subtropical air-conditioning package now extended to the salon, ensuring the yacht performs just as comfortably in warm-weather cruising environments. Modern, durable interior and exterior fabrics have been selected throughout, chosen for both longevity and everyday usability.

The Stingray Grey 505 Shadow features full teak decking by Teak Decking Systems across the cockpit and forward seating areas, elevating both the look and feel of the yacht’s exterior spaces.

Beyond its timeless appearance, teak provides natural grip, durability, and comfort underfoot—qualities that enhance the experience of every moment spent on deck. It’s an upgrade that immediately elevates the yacht’s exterior spaces while reinforcing the premium feel of the 505 Shadow.

Performance That Defines the Platform

Beneath the refinements, the performance capability of the 505 Shadow remains unchanged.

Powered by triple Mercury V12 600 engines and Michael Peters’ SVVT hull design, the yacht cruises at approximately 37 knots with a top speed exceeding 50 knots, delivering the composed ride and seakeeping the platform is known for.

It is performance designed not simply for speed, but for confidence across a wide range of offshore conditions.
